Pita Paradise Wailea

March 11, 2012

The cutest Maui couple ever also are the hardest working!  I recently had the pleasure of working with Christine and John on some food photos and portraits in their Pita Paradise Wailea location.  John is a fisherman and catches all the fish for the restaurant while Christine runs the restaurant (and happens to be stunningly gorgeous).  Here are two of my favorites photos. Here is sneak peak of beautiful Maui models Jessica Dungans and Karise Hallsten in gorgeous swimwear designed by Puka Puka in Paia with Louis Vuitton Clutch and bangles from Tiffany’s. Morning Horses in Kula

February 3, 2012

This morning I had the opportunity to take a leisurely drive around Kula and Makawao to catch a glimpse of beautiful grazing horses against a Maui Up Country back drop. This beautiful horse was not in the least disturbed by my brief visit and ate happily in the morning light!Kula Horses Nina Maui Photography Morning Horses in KulaKula Horses Nina Maui Photography 2 Morning Horses in Kula

The best part about being a photographer on Maui is meeting all the amazing people and visiting Maui’s most interesting locations! …AND tasting delicious creations by local chefs! Award winning Chef Sheldon Simeon concocts baked deliciousness for Leoda’s Kitchen and Pie Shop, a new restaurant on Honoapiilani Highway in Olowalu, Maui Hawaii.  Take a look at their tantalizing menu here. The fried brussel sprout salad was delish and the bread was a heavenly balance between airy and chewy and cripsy and crusty.  It will now be hard NOT to stop there on my way to Lahaina!
